Can we talk to the pilot during the tour?

Yes, you can! Except during takeoff, landing, or other busy traffic times, feel free to ask questions and talk to each other.

Are cellphones and personal cameras allowed on our flight?

Yes and Yes! Our flights operate in an environment that allows cellphones to remain in normal mode. Every seat is a “window seat” … great for taking photos of your adventure. Our pilots are skillful in flying a path that allows amazing views to passengers on both sides of the aircraft.

For best photo results, we recommend you wear dark outer layers to minimize reflections in the windows.

What are the maximum weight and height limitations for passengers?

Due to aircraft interior size and weight & balance limitations, passengers are restricted to a maximum of 250 pounds and a height of 6’4”. Our goal is to accommodate everyone wishing a tour. However, we are required to stay within the aircraft operating limitations in order to maintain flight safety.

Can children go on the helicopter tour?

For everyone’s safety, each passenger, including your child, must be secured with a regular-sized seatbelt in his or her individual seat. For this reason, our minimum passenger age is 7 years old.

Can I go on your tour while pregnant?

You are welcome to fly with us through the 7th month of your pregnancy, providing you feel comfortable with the motion of the helicopter in the air, as well as wearing a regular (three-point or five-point) seatbelt across your body.

How do we prepare for our flight?

Please arrive no later than 40 minutes prior to your scheduled flight time. Per FAA regulations, we will be checking each passenger’s ready-to-fly weight. This includes all items you will be taking on the helicopter tour. For best photo results, we recommend you wear dark outer layers to minimize reflections in the windows. No food please … only water in an enclosed container is allowed on the flight.

What if the weather is not cooperating for our scheduled tour time?

If the pilot determines that the visibility, cloud cover, or winds do not allow for a good air tour, or it is not safe to fly, we will of course cancel the flight. Because weather conditions can change dramatically by the hour, the pilots do have up until the flight time to make a go or no-go decision.

Weather or mechanical cancellations will be rescheduled or refunded.

What is your rescheduling/cancellation policy?

You may reschedule or cancel your tour, without incurring additional fees, up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight time.

If you choose to reschedule your tour within 24 hours of your scheduled flight time, your tour will be subject to a non-refundable $150.00 rescheduling fee. Rescheduled tours cannot be cancelled.

If you choose to cancel your tour within 24 hours of the scheduled time (or arrive 15 minutes late or fail to show up), you will be billed the full price for the tour.

Do I need to worry about motion sickness while flying in the helicopter?

Our tour helicopter features 180-degree windows offering incredible outward views. Additionally, the cabin is air-conditioned and each seat is equipped with air vents that allow fresh air to enter the cabin while in flight.

Our experienced pilots choose the best flight path considering winds, terrain, areas of known turbulence and maneuver using gentle turns and altitude changes. Very few passengers experience any queasiness. However, if you are particularly prone to motion sickness, we do recommend that you prepare with oral medication to assure your flight is enjoyable.

Do I tip my pilot?

Tipping is not required but is always appreciated.
