HIGHLY EXPERIENCED AND SAFETY-FOCUSED

Meet Our Flight Instructors

RAMON BROWN

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Ramon began his helicopter training in his early 20’s, advancing to his ATP Helicopter License. Although he transitioned to flying mainly jet aircraft, Ramon’s love for helicopter flying continued. He has experience instructing beginner to advanced pilots.

ROBIN JOHNSON

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Robin’s flying career began in 1976 when he ran away to sea to become a helicopter pilot in the Royal Navy. Though primarily an anti-submarine pilot, he also flew tours in search and rescue, utility and training … accumulating 6,000 flight hours. He left the service in 1995 to pursue a career in the airline world, retiring from British Airways in 2020 as a B-777 Captain. He is married to an American, Jennifer, who he met while in the Navy on a three-year exchange posting with the USCG. Robin and Jennifer have two grown sons. They relocated from Europe to Boulder, CO in 2015, and he has been a part-time helicopter flight instructor since 2017.

LOGAN DAEHNICK

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Logan is a native Colorado flyboy whose love for the outdoors combined with his passion for flying led him to the helicopter tour business several years ago. When he’s not instructing students or conducting helicopter tours, he can be found flying high and fast in Corporate jets.

Ramon, Robin and Logan are excited to share their passion for aviation as well as their knowledge and experience of safe, fun flying with a new generation of helicopter enthusiasts!

Whether you are a zero-time pilot looking to start your flying career, an experienced fixed-wing pilot looking for a new thrill, or anywhere in between, we would love to help you follow your dreams of rotorcraft flight!
